This research shows how the adequate organization of information allows to make better decisions, based on the appropriate control and management of information for the logistics area, focused on the management of suppliers and contracting in the Corona Organization. The information on the transportation operations was disorganized, collected without standardization, without recognizing the causes of the non-compliance of the carriers, making analysis and corrective actions difficult, reflecting in lost sales for the company. The data is identified and classified by creating databases with information provided by the management team, suppliers and contracting, generating indicators (KPIs) for analysis. A list of strategies is proposed for the amounts, the monitoring and location of transporters, support with the contracting and suppliers management staff , constant communication with suppliers, among others, allowing to make decisions to optimize the internal operation and the provision of the transport service.
