Abstract

AgNps were synthetized by solution process at room temperature; PVA was used as stabilizer agent at different concentrations and AgNO3 as metallic precursor. The effect of two reducing agents was evaluated between sodium citrate (Na3C3H5O (COO)3) and citric acid (C6H8O7). The process was control at room temperature with magnetic stir. FTIR analysis allow us to confirm the Nps chemical composition. UV-Vis spectroscopy was carried out to evaluate the stability of the nanoparticles for a month, the maximum absorption peak by UV-Vis spectroscopy was found in 408 and 412 nm for Nps prepared with Na3C3H5O (COO)3) and C6H8O7 respectively, which are comparable to the values reported in the literature
